In any dynamic sales organization whether it is Local or National, the key to success is training. If a sales person is taken out of the field and brought to corporate for training, 2 really bad things happen:
- Productivity stops because your salesman is sitting in your training room.
- The costs to get that sales person to corporate and put him/her up and pay them a per diem are prohibitive and just darned expensive.
Put all of your current and future training modules on the Internet and then require that each sales person log in, complete the training, test their knowledge of what they have just learned and then have them sign off on the fact that they are up to date with corporate changes or product enhancements.
